3% Polocaine

DENTSPLY Pharmaceutical’s 3% Polocaine DENTAL (mepivacaine injection) anesthetic offers intermediate (approximately 30 minutes) or lengthy (up to 90 minutes) duration.

It provides protection from pain for approximately 20 minutes in the maxilla and 40 minutes in the mandible. Average soft-tissue duration is 2 to 3 hours in infiltration and 3 to 4 hours in nerve blocks. Cartridges are packed in unique blister trays that have siliconized plungers for smooth movement and precise control.
